Programme Pathways
We believe that everyone should have a chance to achieve their goals, so we offer a range of study programmes which aim to inspire the young people we work with.
At Market Field College, we combine classroom and vocational based learning with external activities and work placements. Our study programmes offer a broad and balanced curriculum that is targeted towards preparing for adulthood and participating in the modern adult world.
-
Independence - We challenge students to progress to increased levels of independence within all aspects of themselves and to live up to their true potential.
- Employability - We want every student at Market Field College to feel inspired and prepared for the world of work.
- Community, friends, and relationships - We aim to expand upon students understanding of the world around them; equipping them to be responsible, respectful, and resilient citizens who are active members of their communities.
- Health and Well-being - We support students to flourish by developing the knowledge and skills required to make healthy and safe choices that will enhance their own and others’ health and wellbeing.
Our ultimate aim is for all students to progress to meaningful employment, or skills building towards employment outcomes, at the end of their programme. Our college vision is geared with that end in sight. We want every student at Market Field College to feel inspired and prepared for the world of work and for employers to be aware of the rich pool of talent and skills our students have to offer. Vocational learning and work experience is, therefore, at the heart of all our study programmes.
Our current vocational learning options include the following subjects:
- Hospitality and Catering,
- Health and Social Care,
- iMedia,
- Construction
- Horticulture
Learning at all levels is accredited to nationally recognised awarding bodies.
